Our Story (in Brief) Nearly 4 years ago we opened our doors with a lot of hope, a small personal savings account (collected over the course of about 18 months while I worked 2 jobs), and the physical help of friends and family to build our space. We have personally guaranteed our lease on the space and we did not use a business loan.
Since that time, we have faithfully paid every penny we owed including less "policed" expenses like insurance, and music licensing fees. Most months, 80%-120% (depending on the month) of our operational expenses were covered by generated revenue. The remaining expenses were covered by our own continued investment from my husbands income who remained employed. I'm incredibly proud of my business and I have loved every second of it, even through many tears and sore muscles. The community it has created in my life and the lives of others is beyond the scope of anything i imagined.
From the bottom of my heart, if you are able, I'm asking for your continued support while we are mandated to be closed. We intend to re-open the moment we are allowed. I know the cost of this pandemic has been and will be great and vast, if you cannot support us at this time, I will respect your choice, and I pray your damages are minimal.

A final note about our earnings: It is my goal to pay our teachers their regular weekly earnings, as well as our recurring fees and obligations If every single person continues their auto-pay, it will cover roughly half of our monthly operational expenses, excluding any payment to myself. When and if we have earned enough to pay our operational obligations for the duration of the anticipated closure (which at this time is 30 days), we will stop the sale of vouchers. And as always, we will continue to pay any outstanding expenses personally.
