Our community

Arvada Barre is the home of many new and advanced Barre fitness participants. We take pride in our approachable and welcoming community of teachers and students of all fitness levels. All of our teachers are highly trained in modifications, verbal cueing and hands on adjustments to help you get into your best position, safely.

What you'll need

  • Bring a water bottle, Socks (sticky socks are required and sold in studio), and your self!  We provide all equipment needed for class participation
  • Wear cloths that keep you comfortable for movement and stretching
  • Arrive at least 5-10 min early to connect with your teacher and get set up; class starts at the scheduled time and the doors are locked at the start of class
  • Sign up online first; class capacity limits and important communications make online sign ups important for you and us

What is Barre?

Barre is a body-weight based fitness technique that is being hailed as the fastest way to get results and change your body! Barre was created in the 1960’s by a ballerina to rehabilitate her broken back, but don’t let that scare you because barre fitness is NOT dance. Barre is often prescribed by doctors and physical therapists because it is not only safe for nearly every injury, it is therapeutic for those suffering from common injuries.
During your class at Arvada Barre, you can expect to work your entire body choreographed to popular music. Our highly trained Barre teachers are here to help you master the technique by verbally queuing you through class and using hands-on adjustments to correct your form so you see results QUICKLY. In as little as 10 class you will start to see results that will keep you motivated! Barre is best done at least 3-5 times per week, but can safely be done every day. You will see a dramatic transformation and achieve flexibility, strength, long, lean muscles, and core strength at Arvada Barre. So, what are you waiting for?
